![]() ![]() * OK Gimap ready for requests from 79. xxxxxxxxx Maybe someone here can advise if this can be fixed on the user's side? Here's the log for people who may understand more from it. I did file a bug report to Apple (Catalina beta) but the more the better. Then after mail app pops up randomly, browse the logs to the time it happened and see if you have the same errors as below. To enable logging on your macs, when mail app is open, in the top "Window" menu select "Connection information" (or similar - I'm translating), then turn on the checkbox "Log connection activity" (or similar). and it solves itself after a few seconds, not impacting the reception of emails, but most likely making the app pop up randomly. It turns out, there's a problem with authenticating to google servers (I only have 2 google accounts in the mail app). When the app popped up, I searched the logs for what happened at that exact moment. I turned on connection logging in the Mail App. ![]() TL/DR: I've likely found the reason for it, but Apple needs to find a solution. ![]()
